Welcome
Mission & Values
Kenosha Junior Woman's Club (KJWC) is a non-profit women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer services. KJWC provides an opportunity to:
- Take an active role in the community
- Serve as a volunteer for worthwhile causes
- Realize achievement as a group
- Improve community life
- Meet new friends and enjoy fellowship
- Develop personally and professionally
Our charitable works include fundraising, community projects, recognition for community service and social events.
Our annual major fundraising event is known as "Puttin' on the Ritz." This fun event benefits a local charity, and includes an auction with items donated by local businesses and individuals.
Proceeds from this event are split between the annual charity and the Kenosha Junior Woman's Club's scholarship fund, which benefits local high school seniors as they move on to higher education.
Our Charity
The KJWC 2012 charitable recipient is Women and Children's Horizons. Their mission is to provide support, education, training, and healing to victims of sexual and domestic violence/abuse.
